We come to you!
We do need you to be at a RV park, resort, or campground with water, electric and sewer hookups at your site. Service at W/E only sites is possible, but incur additional charges for the use of the portable tote tank.
We are fully insured.
Water. That's all we use, albeit at 1500psi through our specialized hoses and rotating nozzles.
Wade retired after 25 years in Federal law enforcement and went on the road full time with Juwon in October 2022 after she finished a career in finance and IT. Wade and Juwon run Cherry RV Tank Service, a service using a specialized high pressure hydro-jetter to resolve issues with RV holding tanks. We are mobile. Check the top of the homepage to see where we are and call or text us. We have a lot of colleagues in this business and may be able to find someone in your area if we aren’t close by.
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
The manufacturer installed flushing sprayers usually have three fixed position spray ports. While they discharge a good amount of water they miss areas to flush out and material can build up in those areas over time - reducing your tank's holding capacity.
Much the same is true for the wand style sprayers sent down to the tank through the toilet. While these units have some utility they do not have the pressure required to clean out a tank.
At Cherry RV Tank Service we use a hydro-jetter with 1500psi to service the inside of your tank, removing buildup and struvite.
Struvite is a type of mineral that can form in the urinary tract of both humans and animals. It is composed of magnesium, ammonium, and phosphate - yep, it's kidney stones. In a black tank, struvite buildup can occur when urine and feces mix with hard water and form a solid mass. This buildup can clog the holding tanks and cause odors and backups.
Gray tanks can often be as nasty (and smell as bad) as the black tanks. Fats, oils, and greases can coagulate on the walls with skin cells and food particles globbling on and creating havoc with your sensors and / or providing a medium for the growth of mold.
It depends. If you have just a macerating toilet where the macerator is at the toilet and above the tank, we can service your tanks.
If your macerator is at the output valve we cannot service your tanks as trying to feed the hose through the macerator would damage our hose and / or your macerator.
Having us hydro-jet your tanks brings your gray and black tanks to a "near-new" condition, addresses odor and sensor problems, and provides you the opportunity to start a new chemical-free relationship with your tanks.
Hydro-jetting almost always resolves odor issues originating from the tanks. Likewise, mis-reading sensors almost always return to normal operation after our service. That said, sometimes there are other issues going on with the sensors that cause them to report incorrect readings that tank servicing cannot address.
We are full-timers. We use RV Digest-It by Unique and water kefir in our black tank, and in the gray tank when we boondock (if we are at a site with FHU we usually don't treat the gray tank as we're dumping it pretty frequently). We've found this mix of bacterias, enzymes, yeasts, and probiotics - in combination with the water softener - keeps our black tank fluid and odor-free.
